W Prefix

In Japanese, W means "double," daburu ダブル, when used as a prefix, e.g. a daburu deeto ダブルデート means a "double date." This happens because W is pronounced as "double u," daburyuu ダブリュー, which sounds like double.

Not to be confused with wwww, which means "lol" instead, just like kusa.
